Great news.
Looks like it will be a retelling of the Yoshiwara arc considering how they set it up with Kamui at the end of the first film.
Not a bad thing at all considering it's one of the best arcs to date.
I just hope one day we have a proper Gintama film with an original story or one from the mangaka himself.

Wait, so they weren't joking during that episode? Please please let it not be a retelling. I want to see something new.

Whether it be a retelling or an original story, it's still great news that Gintama is getting another movie!

Love it. My guess is it will be new arc with lots of Kamui.
I've not seen but will the first film get an official release over here?

doubt it, sentai licensed the first 50 episodes but since they haven't licensed anymore we can prolly assume people didn't want to spend money on a sub only release when all the episodes were available for free on CR lol.
