I just caught the tail end of an Adult Swim bumper after this evening's Big O goodness.
I thought it said something about AS looking to do a Big O 3. Can anyone confirm or deny this???
(Here's hoping this is true....)

They did indeed mention that if the ratings justified it, that a third season of The Big O could be made. This has been mentioned in a press release earlier.
I have heard from people attending AWA that The Big O is doing better than expected in the ratings, coupled with that card, I am more hopeful than before that a third season might be commissioned.
This has been Delthayre (Paul), who has high hopes.

I caught that too, but I take anything that comes out on those bumpers with a grain of salt.
But, knowing that it was mentioned in a press release kills that, so...yeah. I really liked the first season, I thought it was fairly different from what we were getting here in the states at the time. And it had/continues to have an interesting story.
It appears now that Roger was one of those bal-headed chillin', who were apparently raised as Megadeuce pilots (or Domineuces) for some war effort.
I'm really diggin' it, and I would deffinately support a third season. I honestly don't think anyone foresaw The Big O doing this well. I didn't anyway.

I believe cartoon network got an option to do up through a 4 season of Big O when they were contracting the second. So besides the 3rd mentioned in the card there coul dbe one more. Chances are very high that a 3rd will be made since Big O seems to currently have the highest ratings on AS.

A 3rd season of Big O would be excellent. But, baring what will likely be major happenings in the rest of this season, what direction would you like to see the show take?

Well for me I cant even hazard a guess til I see ep 26.
I know that Sundays ep changed my entire opinion of Angel and now Im hoping nothing bad happens to her. I was hoping Dorothy and Roger would get together but after recently finishing Chobits Im now confused on the Dorothy/Roger issue.

at the rate of the story is unfolding, i think it will take another season to wrap things up...
i'd rather hope they would finish it up this season instead of dragging story.....hmm...as i was writing this, i checked the adultswim website, and the episode guide for big o lists through 26....talk about a spoiler...
it looks to be another season...
