So far the only simulcast on TAN I've interest in is Persona 4... good for the fans of this show though! Very Happy One question: with a Sentai simulcast announced on Monday, Tuesday, and now today should I be expecting more to come in the coming days?

This one sounds pretty interesting, so I will have to check out the simulcast.

At least this time they actually confirmed the TAN simulcast, and gave a start date as well, instead of the more ambiguous digitally "through many outlets".

Assuming the previous two will indeed be simulcast on The Anime Network as well, the question now is whether this is all, and TAN will have 3 simulcasts as they did last season, or will they go for more?

Well, last season was more like 3 and half, if you count the delay cast for No. 6. So they may have more, they may not. It's hard to tell.

What days do these 3 series run (US time wise) I wonder if it plays into the reasoning behind why they are switching their weekly video updates from their traditional Thursday to Friday.

Sentai is really going all out. I expect that Horizon will be a true simulcast, which is why they are loose lipped with the info, while Persona 4 and MajiKoi will be delaycasts.

It's possible. There could also be a delay in getting materials initially, so they many end up doing what they did with two of their summer simulcasts and play rapid catch-up.

Whoa, lookit the big licensing stones on Sentai! This is the third licensing announcement for shows starting in the Fall '11 season. I dunno, Funi - seems like Sentai is kinda cleaning your clock, licensing-wise. Wink

Dude Sentai is owning right now! I hope this gets a dub!......... WTF is FUNimation doing?!

Ok I know this is off topic but... Is Mardock Scramble getting a Blu-ray release? Because the girl on the right of side of my screen is really hot and I'd like to buy whatever she is on.

It is, but not until next year. You can thank the Japanese fear of reverse importation. Their bluray was just recently released.

Wow, Sentai has been rocking it with the licensing. Good for them! They've been picking some pretty awesome sounding titles.

And I agree, what is Funimation doing? O_o

Tried and true method of waiting for the measure of interest in the shows before licensing them.

Funimation is obviously waiting to pick up vastly better titles then Sentai Filmworks..yet another title that I have no interest in.

This does not seem like a show that Funi would stream. They usually announce stuff close to the start date or after it has already started. Anyways good for Sentai.
