Ani-Magic 2008 Press Release
With sincere thanks to all who have supported us, the Antelope Valley Anime Society is excited and pleased to present Ani-Magic 2008. We have listened to your feedback regarding our show; it was instrumental in our planning for this year. Date and Venue: Saturday, Oct 18th 2008, Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, Lancaster, California Hotel: Homewood Suites & Hampton Inn Suites (under construction and due to open for business June 2008). Other hotels nearby will also be offering block rates as the event approaches. Block rate information will be available in April. Convention Membership Rates: Adults - $15.00 Children 10 -14yrs - $10.00 Children under 48 inches - $5.00 Children 2 and under - Free Guests: Chuck Huber Kyle Herbert Laura Bailey (tentative) Elise Baughman More to come! About the Venue: The Antelope Valley Fairgrounds is located just off the AV Freeway Route 14 and Ave H. It is home to the annual Antelope Valley Fair and Alfalfa Festival. This is a brand new exhibition center, less than two years old. It features RV parking facilities with hook ups for electric and water, a stadium and several large exhibitor buildings that afford Ani-Magic the ability to improve and grow. Its spacious areas are ideal for costume photography. Addtional information regarding will be availble on our improved web site soon. |
