I don't know if I should post this here or in the Retail section, but FUNiRepBlue posted this on the AoD forum:

Hi guys!
We want to say a huge thank you for all the support so far on Shuffle! Because of you, the fans, Shuffle! has been a hit. We are pleased to announce we will be going forward with an ender box! The box will come with a volume 6 DVD and room for the other 5 volumes. Plus, there will be a premium item! Only one other FUNimation title has received an ender box to date: Samurai 7. Your voices were heard and your support is appreciated.
Go Shuffle!

Best regards,
FUNiRepBlue

So it looks like that sales for Vol. #1 and Vol. #2 for Shuffle were sufficient enough after all.

I just bought 1 and 2 myself and I was wondering about that. Though I know ADV has being doing more and more vol 2 boxes themselves. The whole idea being give the fans a chance to buy the first volume and see if they like it or not before committing to the more expensive artbox. I suppose Funi is following suit in their own way. I wonder if the artbox will have anything extra in it or just simply be the last volume and the box. I hope there's something else in it such as a soundtrack or other item.

Good to hear it's official! The rep at the Funimation booth at Anime Boston said that an ender was very likely, but now that's it's posted I can breathe a sigh of relief. I love my art boxes, and I'm curious what that premium item is gonna be.

It's also good to hear other people like the series as well. The people who don't like it have generally been quite vocal about this particular series and sometimes I'm not sure if I'm crazy for liking it or what.

I'm at -6.50 in both eyes, how about you?

I posted over at AoD about how happy I am to have a box on the way already. To paraphrase another poster there, it's nice to see we buying few get rewarded for doing the legal thing.

I just hope the box's spine will have Primula on it. I'd rather look at her or Mayumi or Nerine than any of the others. Primula is just adorable in a quiet way and Mayumi's attempt to convince everyone that flatchests are in totally won me over on her. And Nerine, well, I love a girl who blows up jerks who insult the people she loves. Plus she sings.

-6.50 in my right and -6.25 on my left actually. I use Night & Day contacts. I see we have more yet in common besides our joy for exploding clothes in Ikki Tousen heh.

And yea it is nice to be rewarded for actually buying the dvds. I'm also just a sucker for art boxes. I love them and having them as part of my collection. Many simply have beautiful art work on them and ar worth the money just for that alone. Plus it makes storing them so much easier then worrying about misplacing 1 dvd from a set.

Awesome news I was wondering about that though I'm already 3 volumes into collecting the series anyway and would have collected all of them anyway since I've already seen the series and really like it.

Eerie. Shocked

Personally, I just opt for no contacts/glasses at night. Dry eyes and such.

Having an art box gives me an odd sense of satisfaction and accoplishment. When I can take the box, filled at last with DVDs, and turn it so the spine faces me thus signifying a completed series, I feel very happy. I'm obviously a little strange though.

"Get out of my head!!!!" *runs upstairs though he lives in a one story house*

I also turn the spines out to signify a finished series. In rare cases where I cannot do that (Trinity Blood, Oh My Goddess, or Basilisk for example) I have them upside down and then turn them right side up when they're done. By upside down I point the art towards the right and then when I'm done the art faces towards the left.

The joy of Night & Day contacts is they allow a great deal of oxygen in so I very rarely wake up with dry eyes. At least nothing 2 eye drops can't fix. I got tired of worrying about taking them out in instances where I would go out for the night so I got the Night & Day contacts. Plus this way I don't have to fiddle with my eye directly on a daily basis. I do take them out one day a week (Sunday) to give my eyes a break though.
