I don't know why, but even after not seeing this show I want to start collecting it. I hear great things about it and you all make it sound very promising.
I was going to buy the first DVD with the artbox, but I don't know whether to get just the DVD + artbox or the limited edition combo of DVD + artbox and extra stuff.
My question is are the boxes for either set any different, aside from the items included (which I think is just a mousepad and an Alvie figure.) I've got a plan to go out and start expanding my collection by first starting with limited edition sets, but I want to save some money so that it can carry over for each set.
I'm pretty sure they're the same, but I just want to make sure, first. Thanks.

Yeah, the boxes are the same. I had to rumage through about 20 of them looking for the non-limited edition one.

I like the Alv figure and mousepad... but maybe it's because I'm such a geek. ^_^
So if you are gonna buy it, and you are into collecting, I'd say to try to get the full on version.

Well it's true I'd like to collect those things, but it'd cost an extra $8. $8 can go a long way towards something else (like more DVDs ,) but thanks for the tips anyway you two.

This has nothing to do with the LE, but I thought I'd comment anyway. "
I really think you will like Last Exile. The animation is really steller. The story has an...interesting feel to it. Sort of like the Original Star Wars (#4), where you have a pretty limited scope of the story, but you know that there is this vastness, that lays just over the horizon. It is very unique.
Good luck with it, anyway!
