o.O Lemme just say "Woah, that's a lot." Good thing they clearly said it wouldn't all be released in 2004, or they'd be killing themselves.

So is this true? Any news on the titles the picked up? 1000 volumes is... a lot.

... toys. Very Happy

Now, if they could just give a release date for the second volume of Gunslinger Girl...

Shocked Good god. I wonder what titles they've acquired. I went on ADV's website but there was no news or confirmation of it (yet). If it happens to be true, that is awesome for us. What's next? Anime novels? Cool

More toys!

That is a lot but it's probably easier to do than you'd think. Most of the time, when a company get a book title, you see that company get ALL of that author's titles. So they've probably gotten lots of new titles and got dibs on all the authors old titles too.

That's still a lot of stories. I wouldn't mind reading them all in 2004. Why wait!

I would love for some of the novels to come out. Full Metal Panic!, Scrapped Princess and Maburaho? Bring 'em on. I'd love to get a glimpse into many of the original pieces of work.

1000 volumes licensed...that's a lot for a company that just recently started its manga line. Not that that's a bad thing, besides the fact my allowance will be wasted entirely on these serieses. (sp?)

Out of these 1,000 volumes, how many individual titles did they get?

Well, if any anime company could release that many mangas, it would be ADV.

Volumes. Probably somewhere between 40-80 titles...I think.
