Hello, I am new at this place and I was looking up some things about .hack (as well as other anime) since I am a big fan of it. Though I don't understand two things about it.
.hack//GIFT (OAV) is the anime I was looking at and I do not know what the (OAV) means. Also, I was wondering how do I get .hack//Gift. I already have a .hack//Sign and I'm working on .hack//Legend of the Twilight. As for the other .hack's I know how to get those. The Encylopedia does not tell me how to get .hack//Gift, unless I have missed it or misread something. If someone could kindly help me out I would really appreciate it. Thank you, CheshireWolf |

I think .hack//GIFT was a part of the video game. As in it came with the last volume of the PS2 series, .hack//Quarantine, I think it is.
I don't really remember right now. All I do remember is seeing a .hack episode that was Japanese audio only and that everyone was drawn all goofy looking. It was very funny too. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure that was it. Yes, see if any of your friends might have the 4th .hack video game. I believe the game comes with a DVD that has the episode on it. |

Yes. .hack//GIFT is in the extras section of the //Liminality DVD that comes with volume four of the videogame.
