I Really like this show, it's Simplistic but yet so charming, it really takes you back to the early days of the mid 00's back than there were so many School/Comedy series with a similar style as this one even the supernatural element is similar to other shows such as Rosario Vampire or Hayate The Combat Butler minus the ecchi harem element.

However it is still able to keep its own identity and be a completely different experience and im speaking as a manga reader.

The Production value here is astounding for something of this type of series, the animation is very sharp and clean and the soundtrack is so wild and goofy that it fits with the series atmosphere and i just love the characters, Iruma-Kun is such a sweet and innocent protagonist you real feel for him.

A Great start and i hope it maintains this level off pace and production value if the rest of the series is like the first ep it can even be better than the manga experience, the only thing i regret is that it seems to be a little to under the radar if anyone is still feel apprehensive about watching this series i highly recommend you should check it out Smile

I gave the first episode a try earlier last week and while I do not seem to click with the story as much as you and the rest of the reviewers I felt it was nice. The story certainly did not waist time getting itself establish. I am sure I might come to like it overtime. I suspect Iruma's adoptive grandpa has a good reason for adopting him. Regardless he certainly now has a better life then he did before he was risked away to what looks like a Hell with a Halloweenish aesthetic (and just in time for Halloween too Anime smile).

By the way, why did this anime get it's own forum topic during the time The Fall 2019 Anime Preview Guide was being updated? It would be nice if the other shows feature got their own topics instead of everyone commenting on one topic during the making of the preview guide. Although I guess it would not matter much since soon some of the anime is going to have their own topics once it's decided what the reviewers are going to cover. I was just asking out of curiosity. I am glad for this anime to have it's own topic here at least. [/quote]
