A Thanksgiving greeting for Witchblade is kinda nuts, that show is coming up on 20 years old! Nice of Gonzo to keep the nostalgia for that series alive after all this time. Very Happy

I had no idea that there is an official X account for Witchblade anime, especially since it's one of the forgotten ones.

One of the first serious anime with adult cast, that I watched around 2006-2007 that I watched when I seriously started getting into anime - maybe I even watched it on a weekly basis, not sure, because around that time we got Internet in my family home.

Checked what they are posting, and they are motivating people a lot to do a rewatch of the series. Very Happy

Who knows, even though anime itself is very much completed story around Masane, maybe it could have had more entries at this point.

Yeah, same here. Speaking of Witchblade, I don't mind if they do another shot of an anime adaptation of the comic series. However, I want the anime to use Sara and Danielle rather then Masane given the original comic has a bit of a shonen by 1995 standard, and I haven't got chance to read the 2024 reboot yet. But given the popularity of My Hero Academia, and Demon Slayer along with recent anime adaptation of western comic like Scott Pilgrim takes Off, and Super Crooks (yes, that anime is based on an American comic series), maybe it's the right time for Witchblade to get another anime adaptation but using the characters from the comic rather create an original character that didn't exist in the American comic (Masane was not in the comic AFAIK). Rather then Gonzo, I would love to see either Production I.G or UFOtable to do the animation duty.
