Ah, well, that's unique isn't it? Too bad death metal and rap are the only genres of music I pretty much never listen to.

I'm not a huge fan of metal (most of what I do like is symphonic metal) but I actually kind of want this CD, just based on the combination of "heavy metal" and "Studio Ghibli.:

I was very surprised by the quality. I bought the album on Thursday after hearing some samples and it does sound very good, keeping the original melody but putting it in a nice metal form.

Oh wow, that was too cool to believe on my first hearing.

It probably doesn't sound that cool to folks who don't know/never heard the original Ghibli versions, but for the folks who do... hearing these classic themes again in death metal... mind = blown.

Kinda reminded of Maximum the Hormone, too.
