This news made my day, Steins;Gate is probably my most wanted series from recent seasons. Looking forward to it!

Agreed! Although I guess asking for BDs would be too much...

It pains me to say this, because I do want to support local releases, but unless Manga E. release Steins;Gate on Blu-ray I will just import the u.s. release, I don't have a blanket policy of doing this, I don't think Spice and Wolf is worth bothering with Blu-ray for, for example, so I will buy Manga E.'s u.k. release, and I'm seriously considering buying the u.k. release of Shiki as the character designs for that are rather unappealing (everyone has ridiculous looking hair) and just generally I'm not sure how much I care about BD for that series, but there are a number of series that Manga E. is not going to get my money for because they aren't releasing them on Blu-ray, I mean, my main reason for buying an HD TV and a Blu-ray player was so I could watch anime/ation in HD.

Why bother with US imports just spend about 6 or 7 months removing the need for subs and you'll get stuff that even the Americans won't see.

Because japanese anime DVDs are ridiculously expensive and I am not in a good place mentally to be taking on a commitment like learning a foreign language right now.

I doubt it'll be on Blu-ray at all unless Kaze is involved.
