Have you tried an Inter-library loan?

It is an excellent series, I'm glad to see it make this list. Anime smile A Devil and Her Love Song is wonderful too, but for different reasons. Anime hyper

(why does it seem like they are nominating less and less manga? ._.)

It is at this moment that I realize how lucky I was to have a library that carries over 100 manga titles. I don't think many do that...

A librarian in my main library district once told me that newly published titles are more likely to be rejected when you request them via inter-library lone. It's a really great way to read OOP series, though. It's how I read Planetes!

Domestic publishers are putting out more quality graphic novels that aren't tethered to superhero lore (Ultimate Spider-Man introduces a young, minority superhero in a major role, and I've heard really good things about Waid's Daredevil, so those choices make sense, too).
