K: Missing Kings Opens At #10 at Box Office

Kadokawa Shoten's Movie Walker website reported that K: Missing Kings opened at #10 in the Japanese box office this weekend. The film opened in 33 theaters across Japan on Saturday.

The live-action Say "I love you." film opened at #2. It sold 135,801 tickets for 159,590,500 yen (about US$1.57 million) on 246 screens.

Eleven Arts plans to screen K: Missing Kings in over 45 theaters across the U.S. starting on July 18. The company also plans to screen the film in Canada starting in late September. The Eleven Arts website lists theater and ticket information for the U.S.

Anime Expo in L.A. and Japan Expo in Paris hosted the world premieres of K: Missing Kings earlier this month.
