Boarding School Juliet Anime Listed With 12 Episodes

The official website for the television anime of Yōsuke Kaneda's school romantic comedy manga Kishuku Gakkō no Juliet (Boarding School Juliet) is listing the anime with 12 episodes. The website revealed the anime's Blu-ray Disc release information on Friday. The series will have a total of four Blu-ray Disc releases with three episodes each, for a total of 12 episodes.
The Blu-ray Disc releases will ship once a month for four consecutive months beginning on December 22. The first volume will bundle virtual reality goggles to view 360-degree cast commentary videos, and each volume will bundle a situation voice CD.
The anime will air in the Animeism programming block, and it will premiere on TBS on October 5 late at night at 1:25 a.m. (effectively October 6), before airing a half hour later on MBS. The show will also air on BS-TBS the next evening. The anime will stream exclusively on the Amazon Prime Video service in Japan and overseas (except in mainland China).
Seiki Takuno (Love and Lies, Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, Poco's Udon World) is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS. Fumiaki Usui (assistant director for Love and Lies, Sekkō Boys, Poco's Udon World) is the assistant director, and Takao Yoshioka (WATAMOTE, Wagnaria!!2, Ikki Tousen) is both overseeing and writing the scripts. Yūki Morimoto (Miss Monochrome, Miss Monochrome - The Animation- 2) is designing the characters for animation, and Masaru Yokoyama (Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, Kabukibu!, Your Lie in April) is composing the music.
