Strangely enough, despite the fact that the original arcade game and the 3 NES trilogy games came out in the US, the OVA never got an official release in the US hence the lack of an English dub for the OVA. Fans of the Ninja Gaiden franchise have to wait for many years thanks to the internet, Wikipedia, and bootleg fansub found on streaming site like Youtube. Although various fansubs for the OVA can be found online.
