Nendoroid Petit figure of Yune to include 2 patterns, accessories

Fujimi Shobo will publish an Ikoku Meiro no Croisée (Croisée in a Foreign Labyrinth - The Animation) anime guide book on March 9, which will include a Nendoroid Petit figure of the show's main character Yune. The book and Nendoroid Petit figure bundle will cost 2,100 yen (about US$27).

The Nendoroid Petit figure included with the book will have both a standing and a bowing body and two different heads. It will also include a French bread and a headdress accessory. The book itself will include stills for every episode, along with a complete collection of backgrounds used in the series. It will also include illustrations from original manga creator Hinata Takeda.

The story of Ikoku Meiro no Croisée follows a girl named Yune who arrives in the lower-class neighborhoods of Paris in the last half of the 19th century, when Japanese culture gains popularity in Europe. She ends up working at an ironworks shop with a boy named Claude.

Kenji Yasuda (Shugo Chara! franchise) is directing the project's animators at the studio Satelight. Junichi Satō (Aria, Kaleido Star, Princess Tutu, Tamayura) is not only supervising the story that Mamiko Ikeda (D.C. ~Da Capo~, Emma: A Victorian Romance, Himawari!) is scripting, but he is also directing the soundtrack. Animators from France are drawing the background art for Satelight. The anime premiered in Japan on July 3.

Sentai Filmworks licensed the 12-episode series last month, and will release it on home video in 2012. The Anime Network began streaming the series on July 26.
