Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai Game's Trailer Streamed

Sega to release rhythm game on the Nintendo 3DS in March 2012

Sega began streaming a trailer for its upcoming rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai on the game's official site on Tuesday. (To turn off the superimposed comments in the video, select the word balloon icon in the bottom right corner of the video.)

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai will feature Hatsune Miku in a Nendoroid style that can appear in an augmented-reality concert using the system's camera. Sega will release the game for the Nintendo 3DS in March 2012.

Sega will also release the rhythm action game Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- extend. There will be a playable version of Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- extend at Tokyo Game Show 2011, which will run from September 15 to 18 in Chiba, Japan. The game will ship in Japan for the PlayStation Portable on November 10 and cost 5,229 yen (about US$68).

Another game in the Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- series, Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- Arcade, appeared at the 2011 J-Pop Summit Festival.

Virtual idol Hatsune Miku performed a concert at Anime Expo in Los Angeles on July 2. Sega is releasing the concert on Blu-ray, DVD, and CD. The CD will ship on November 30, and the Blu-ray and DVD releases will follow on December 21.
