Aya Hirano Appears on Rolling Stone Mag's Cover in Japan

December's top story is 2-hour "Aya Hirano Reborn" interview with voice actress

The Japanese edition of Rolling Stone magazine revealed that voice actress, singer, and entertainment figure Aya Hirano will appear on the cover of the December issue on Thursday. The issue's top story — ahead of stories about the late singer Michael Jackson, Japan's national identity, the female Korean group 2NE1, and the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs — is a long, 10,000-character interview by Joe Yokomizo.

In particular, the "Aya Hirano Reborn" feature will discuss how she is starting over again in 2011 at the age of 24. Hirano switched agencies in August and began accepting new roles in anime again, after saying in April that she was prohibited from taking them since last year. The interview, conducted over the course of two hours, will also discuss Hirano's thoughts on the major crossroads that Japan as a whole is facing this year.

Update: More background information added.
