U.S. 3DS/PS Vita release to be named Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward

North American game publisher Aksys confirmed on Tuesday that it will release the Nintendo 3DS/PlayStation Vita game Kyokugen Dasshutsu ADV: Zennin Shibō Desu (Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die) in North America under the title Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. The Aksys release will feature dual language support, including both Japanese and English audio in the game's visual novel sections. In addition to a physical release, the Vita version of the game will be made available as a download title on Playstation Network.

Developed by Chunsoft, the puzzle-solving, visual-novel suspense game is a follow-up to the Nintendo DS game 999: Nine Hours, Nine Doors, Nine Persons. The game shipped on February 16 in Japan and sold almost 16,000 copies in its first week. The Siliconera website is reporting a Fall 2012 release in North America, while the press release from Aksys only states "by year's end."

The anime studio Gonzo produced a 13-minute promotional video for the game:
