The Museum of Modern Art in New York City is currently hosting an exhibition titled "Century of the Child: Growing by Design 1900-2000" that includes art from the 2011 reprint of the 11th volume of Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy manga. The exhibit also features art by Keita Takahashi from the Katamari Damacy video game franchise.

The exhibition also features a boys' kimono featuring images of the character Norakuro from Suihou Tagawa's classic Norakuro manga.

Additionally, the exhibition features a gothic lolita ensemble and doll from famed Japanese designer h. Naoto.

The exhibit "tracks the confluence of modern design and modern childhood, presenting individual and collective visions for the material world of children." It features items that illustrate "how progressive design has informed the physical, intellectual, and emotional development of children and, conversely, how models of children's play and pedagogy have inspired experimental design."

The exhibit also features Mariko Mori's 1998 "Star Doll" figure, as well as Sony and Hajime Sorayama's 1999 "Aibo Entertainment Robot" electronic pet robot.

"Century of the Child: Growing by Design 1900-2000" runs from July 29-November 5.
