Rose of Versailles Beauty Drink to Debut in Japan

Bandai's Japanese beauty brand Creer Beaute and Bandai Lifestyle collaborated to create a Rose of Versailles beauty drink. The "Rose of Versailles Collagen Drink" is a rose and-peach-flavored soft drink infused with 5,000 milligrams of low-molecular fish collagen, 5 milligrams of hyaluronic acid, 100 milligrams of royal jelly, rose hip extract, vitamin B6, and rose water.
The drinks will go on sale September 7 in Japanese convenience stores, drugstores, supermarkets, and other venues. A three-pack of 50-milliliter (about 1.6-ounce) bottles retails for 882 yen (about US$11).
Creer Beaute also sells a line of Rose of Versailles cosmetic beauty products including "Lady Oscar Liquid Eyeliner", mascara, eyebrow pencil, and "Oscar Face Mask," as well as product tie-ins to Lupin III: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine, Nodame Cantabile, and Urusei Yatsura. The same company sold Rose of Versailles bath powders in 2009.
