E3 trailer of Level-5 & Ghibli's game upgraded with English-dubbed song

The video game news website IGN Entertainment began streaming the GamesCom 2012 English trailer for Level-5 and Studio Ghibli's Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch video game on Wednesday. The trailer is essentially the same one that Level-5 presented at E3 in June, but the Japanese song had been replaced with its English version:

Namco Bandai Games will release the game in North America on January 22, and in Europe on January 25. The end of the trailer shows the game's "Wizard Edition," which comes with a 300+ page hardback physical copy of the Wizard's Companion, the spellbook Oliver uses throughout his journey in the game, a plush doll of Drippy, and "golden mite" and "golden drongo" downloadable contenent familiars. The Wizard's Edition is retailing for US$99.99 and is only available on the Namco Club website.

The PlayStation 3 game was developed by Level-5 and features animation by Studio Ghibli. The story involves a young boy named Oliver who crosses over into another world on a quest to find his mother. The game's North American release was originally planned for early this year, but was delayed until early 2013 and is now coinciding with the European release of the game. The North American and European versions will feature both an English audio track as well as the original Japanese track.

The game was originally released in Japan on November 17.
