Danbōru Senki W PSP/Vita Game's Tokyo Game Show Trailer Posted

Anime cutscenes, battle footage highlighted in latest trailer for game shipping on October 18

Japanese video game developer Level-5 began streaming a Tokyo Game Show trailer for the Danbōru Senki W (Little Battlers eXperience W) role-playing game on Thursday. The trailer features anime cutscenes as well as battle footage, and details the warrior customization and the game's skill system.

Level-5 has delayed the game from September 27 to October 18 so the company can improve and enrich the quality of the game even further and provide players with a better game experience.

Along with a new anime, Level-5 is developing the "plastic model craft role-playing game" as a full sequel to the original Danbōru Senki (Little Battlers eXperience) PSP game that shipped in Japan last year. The player controls tiny battle robots called LBX (Little Battler eXperience) as they battle it out in dioramas built from reinforced cardboard. ("Danbōru Senki" literally means "cardboard warriors.") The new game will feature combining robots.

Level-5 will release both the PlayStation Portable and the PlayStation Vita versions of the game for 4,980 yen (about US$63), or 4,480 yen (US$56) via download.

Sony is developing a stop-motion project to help promote the upcoming game. The final video featuring an original story will be released on October 11.
