Scenes aboard the SS Zenobia luxury ship hint at outbreak's source

The official YouTube channel for the Resident Evil game series began streaming "Case File #1: Atmosphere" video for its multiplatform game release Resident Evil: Revelations Unveiled Edition (Biohazard Revelations Unveiled Edition in Japan) on Sunday. The video features "footage" of the the deserted SS Zenobia luxury ship. Supposedly, a strange creature was on board the ship and is captured on the film.

The new edition takes the original Nintendo 3DS game and brings it to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and Windows next month. Capcom confirmed on Friday that the game will have a playable demo on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, the Nintendo eShop, and Steam before it ships in North America and Europe.

The game's story is set between Resident Evil 4 and 5. It begins with Jill Valentine searching for the missing Chris Redfield aboard a luxury ship, the site of an outbreak.

The port will feature a new Infernal Mode, which offers a revised, "nigh-impossible" campaign with new enemy and item placements, compared to the original Nintendo 3DS game released last year.

Biohazard/Resident Evil: Revelations Unveiled Edition will retail for 4,990 yen (about US$56) on May 23 in Japan. The game will also be released in North America on May 21 and in Europe on May 24.
