Tokyo Theme Park Offering Creepy Sadako 3D 2 Menu

"Sadako's hair-dog," "Sadako's well-juice," more offered with haunted attraction

Tokyo JOYPOLIS, an indoors theme park on Tokyo's Odaiba island, started its new attraction "Sadako 3D 2: Sadako no Ko" (Sadako 3D 2: Child of Sadako) on June 27 to celebrate the release of the Sadako 3D 2 film.

"Sadako 3D 2: Sadako no Ko" is a "walkthrough"-type horror attraction. Participants walk around the park and take "news scoop photographs" as "reporters." To visit the attraction, attendees need to pay 600 yen (about US$6) or have a theme park passport. The attraction is based on an original story by Tokyo JOYPOLIS, but participants can also enjoy scenes from movie Sadako 3D 2.

A special projection of Sadako's horrifying movies will be played every day until September 30 at the main stage (show hours: 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.). Original Sadako photo frames and Sadako's costumes are lent out at Photo Studio MUCHAPURI for 500 yen (US$5), and Sadako's Print Club sticker machines are installed on the first floor. Sadako is also hiding in 17 places throughout the park.

At D-LOUNGE, attendees can enjoy food and drinks from the "Sadako Menu" together with digital attractions. "Sadako's hair-dog," "Sadako's well-juice," and "Sada-cola-float" are sold for 350 yen (US$3.50) each for a limited time.

Tokyo JOYPOLIS is open from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.. Park admissions (no attractions & rides fee included) are 800 yen (US$8) for adults and 300 yen (US$3) for children. Passports (attractions & rides fee included) are 3,900 yen (US$39) for adults, 2,900 yen (US$29) for children.
