Manchester Maid Cafe Event on April 18

There will be a maid cafe event in Manchester on Friday April 18, running from 7pm to 11pm. The venue is the Nexus Art Cafe on Dale Street (map). Tickets will cost £10. The event is being organised by the Sweet Cupcake and Sweet Octopus groups. Sweet Cupcake has a webpage here, with a link to tickets.

The event will include appearances from 'local manga groups' and a cosplay competition.

The maids spend one on one time with the customers, during this time they will draw pictures, Play games and even write messages to each person. The maids and butlers are also professionally trained performers who dance to popular J-pop songs.

Each maid/butler in the café has a specific type of personality so there is one to suit everyone! You can meet the maids and read more about their personalities by visiting the sweet cupcake website. (www.sweetcupcake.co.uk)

Tickets are priced at £10, this ticket includes: two small cakes from sweet octopus, a free photo with the maids and one free game with a maid of your choice. Due to the nature of the event ticket numbers are limited so please be sure to purchase them in advance.
