Hello Kitty Teams Up With Animals Asia to Protect Moon Bears

Worldwide superstar Hello Kitty has thrown her star power behind Animals Asia, backing their campaign to end bear bile farming. From now until the end of the year, Hello Kitty will share the stage of her eight-city 40th Anniversary China tour with Moonie, the Asian black bear (or moon bear) mascot for Animals Asia.
In addition to raising awareness about bear bile farming at the events, the Hello Kitty brand also plans on raising funds through the sale of special "Love Kitty - Love Moonie" t-shirts designed by Hello Kitty brand manager Cherry Zhang. Fans will also have the chance throughout the year to buy additional celebrity-designed Moonie items, including from actress Jiang Yiyan and TV host Wu Xin.
