Parasyte AR App Lets Users Recreate Face-Splitting Scene

The Parasyte manga has collaborated with app developers AR Sankyoudai to create Parasyte VFX, an app that lets users snap photos of themselves to recreate two pivotal scenes from the manga. Namely, one where a Parasyte burrows into someone's hand and peeks out as an eyeball, and another where someone's face bursts open. Dialogue bubbles can be changed as well, should you want to get creative with your expletives.

AR Sankyoudai also recently collaborated with BUMP OF CHICKEN for their BOC-AR app, which is a nice coincidence considering the band only recently announced that they would be performing the ending theme for the last live-action Parasyte film. They also provided the ending theme for the first Parasyte movie.
