Yomiuri Giants Baseball Team Finally Jumps on the Bandwagon for Attack on Titan Collaboration
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
It's a match made in heaven, really. Tokyo's professional baseball team, the Yomiuri Giants (Kyojin), is collaborating with Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) manga for four games this summer. The special campaign includes one-of-a-kind merchandise, including a sports towel featuring Mikasa.

The "Shingeki no Kyojin -Attack for GIANTS-" campaign starts on July 7-8 with two games at the Giant's home stadium, the Tokyo Dome. Attendees can get more exclusive merchandise by completing a quiz during the games. The last two games will be held at Osaka's Kyocera Dome on July 29-30 against the Yokohama DeNA BayStars.
The Yomiuri Giants and Attack on Titan have more in common than just their names. Both have transformed into powerhouses in their respective fields, one in manga sales and the other in Japan Series championship titles.
