Pokémon Producer Tries to Name As Many Pokémon as He Can in 20 Seconds

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

There are quite a few more Pokémon since the PokéRap rhymed the original 150. Pokémon series veteran producer and composer Junichi Masuda was challenged to see how many of the 802 creatures he could list in 20 seconds.

Masuda was able to rattle off 30, all of which are from the original 150, in their original Japanese names.

Nintendo sold a total of 3.7 million copies of the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon 3DS games in North America in less than two weeks. The games sold more than 85% more than the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y games, which previously held the record for the fastest-selling Nintendo game, in the same launch period.
