Kuroko's Basketball Characters Are Heading for the Big Leagues

Gekijōban Kuroko no Basuke Last Game, the anime film adaptation of Tadatoshi Fujimaki's Kuroko no Basuke Extra Game sequel manga, is launching a collaboration with the NBA that will see characters from the film wearing jerseys from NBA teams. The first one out is Taiga Kagami, wearing a Chicago Bulls jersey.

The collaboration will eventually feature eight characters. Fujimaki personally chose which character would get matched with which team, while Yoko Kikuchi, the anime's character designer, is drawing the visuals.

The film opens in Japan on March 18.

Reebok is also releasing seven sneaker designs inspired by the manga's characters.
