Retailers began accepting pre-orders on Thursday for the Yuri!!! on Ice Victor Nikiforov figure in Kotobukiya's ARTFX J series. A prototype of the figure debuted at the Mega Hobby Expo 2017 Spring event on May 27.

The 1/8-scale figure is about 150 millimeters (about 6 inches) tall. This version of Victor wears the suit he appeared in in the anime when he made his coaching debut. He seems to be engrossed in the figure-skating action in a nearby rink. The figure comes with a removable coat, bench, and Victor's Makkachin tissue case.

People who order the figure from Kotobukiya's online shop will receive an additional winking face part. The figure costs 10,000 yen (about US$88), and orders are expected to ship in December.

Yuri!!! on Ice won the Japan Character Grand Prize New Face Award at the Character Brand Licensing Association's Japan Character Awards in June.
As a fan favorite, Victor has already inspired plenty of merchandise including figures. Good Smile Company's Yūri and Victor Nendoroid figures are shipping this month. Chara-Ani's Toy's works brand unveiled new Yūri and Victor figures in May. MegaHouse's G.E.M. line is also releasing a separate 1/8-scale Victor figure in October.
