Magic Knight Rayearth Voice Actress Hekiru Shiina Reincarnates Into Another World as a VTuber

The voice actress Hekiru Shiina is arguably best known for playing the lead Hikaru Shidō in Magic Knight Rayearth, the classic anime tale of girls being spirited away to a world of swords and sorcery. Now she is being reincarnated into another world to play a new role as a Virtual YouTuber.
Her debut as a VTuber was posted on King Amusement Creative's YouTube channel on Saturday. The concept behind the VTuber "Hekiru" is described as follows:
April 17, 2021.The Mother Computer on Planet Hekiru goes on a rampage and explodes. It turned into space debris and disappeared...
Hekiru Shiina, who lost her body when she was caught up in the explosion, became a concept and eventually arrived in the world of YouTube.
Hekiru should have enjoyed herself in this world by stuffing her mouth with an unlimited supply of toasted marshmallows, but she was too optimistic. Mr. Brain, who represents the Mother Computer's 8th level, comes to deliver her a warning. As a result of mass flagging, Hekiru has to be reborn as the VTuber Hekiru in order to preserve her existence in this world.
While she leaves an android in the real world to do her job, Hekiru takes on this brave new world in order to regain her lost body.
King Amusement Creative plans to release new videos featuring the VTuber every Saturday.
Throughout her long career as a voice actress, Shiina has also played Ami Chōno in Girls und Panzer, Celestia Ludenwerg in Danganronpa The Animation, Nene Todoroki in Seitokai Yakuindomo, Tenjōin Katsura in YAT Anshin! Uchu Ryokou, and Alpha Hatsuseno in Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. She also played Rockman (Mega Man) in the games of the same name and Pastel in the Twin Bee game and anime franchise. She has a successful music career, with concert tours throughout Japan.
