May 11 marks Mother's Day, and people in Japan generally celebrate the holiday by giving their mothers a carnation. And all the children in the anime and manga worlds are sending their mothers a carnation and message of thanks:

Today, the 11, is Mother's Day.
The holiday was created when Anne Jarvis's daughter held a memorial for her on the day of her death (May 9, 1905). Anne organized a community of mothers to help wounded soldiers regardless of whether they were friend or foe during the American Civil War.
Anne's preference for white carnations led to them later becoming the symbol of Mother's Day.
Even in tokusatsu works…mothers are strong!
