Bleach Soars on BookScan
posted on by Jonathan Mays
Bleach volume 1, which was first released in June 2004, soared to #7 on the BookScan graphic novel list for the week ending September 17. Volume 2 jumped to #20, and five other Bleach volumes are in the BookScan top 50, of which manga held 42 spots. Addendum: The Jump on Bookscan is for the week immediately following the September 9 premiere of Bleach on Cartoon Network. A similar jump was reported for Naruto in September 2005.
