First promotional image from Mai Mai Shinko to Sennen no Mahō showcased

Madhouse has announced Mai Mai Shinko to Sennen no Mahō (Maimai Shinko and the Millennium-Old Magic), the latest theatrical film from Black Lagoon and Princess Arete director Sunao Katabuchi, at Tokyo International Anime Fair 2008. The story premise begins when "a transfer student lands in a field of millennium-old magic…" No release date has been announced for this work.
