NYC Kinokuniya Books to Hold Cosplay Day on August 17

The New York Anime Festival (NYAF) has announced it is partnering with manga publisher Del Rey and Japanese radio show Samurai Beat Radio to hold Cosplay Day on Sunday, August 17 at the New York City branch of the Kinokuniya Books chain. Renee Gloger and Sonnya Paz — the Team USA members at World Cosplay Summit 2008 in Nagoya, Japan earlier this month — will be special guests at this event.

Team USA is scheduled to speak about their experiences during the Cosplay Summit. There will also be a cosplay Q&A session, a live broadcast from Samurai Beat Radio, and a raffle drawing for a chance to win free NYAF tickets as well as Del Rey Manga prize packages.

The New York Anime Festival will be held from September 26 through the 28th at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
