posted on by Egan Loo
Artist Makoto Raiku will publish manga in five different magazines from three different publishers in September and October — a full 20 months after ending his last manga series, Konjiki no Gash!! (Zatch Bell in English). First, he will publish his one-shot Aosora manga in the October issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine on September 6. Then, he will run the "Dōbutsu no Kuni ~Episode 0~" prequel in this year's 41st issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine on September 9. That same day, he will launch the actual Dōbutsu no Kuni parallel-World Fantasy series in the inaugural issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine. A creature from Dōbutsu no Kuni (Animal Country) appears in the advertisement to the right.

On September 30, Raiku's one-shot "Oyaju~Rider" manga will appear in the November issue of Shonen Gahosha's Young King Ours magazine. Finally, he will publish his one-shot "Class Room" manga in the November issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine on October 4. Raiku left another publisher, Shogakukan, in December of 2007 and won a lawsuit over five color art pieces that Shogakukan had lost.
