Gail Simone Wins Lulu Award over CLAMP, Natsuki Takaya

The Friends of Lulu organization has announced the winners of the 2009 Lulu Awards on Friday. American writer Gail Simone (Wonder Woman, Secret Six, Birds of Prey) won the Female Comic Creator's Hall of Fame category over the manga quartet CLAMP and Fruits Basket creator Natsuki Takaya. Friends of Lulu is a nonprofit organization that supports female readership and participation in the comic book industry.
