Funimation Adds Disgaea Anime

1st episode streaming now; DVD set of former Geneon license ships in early 2011
The North American anime distributor Funimation has announced on Wednesday that it licensed the Disgaea fantasy anime series. The complete 12-episode series will ship on DVD in early 2011, but the first episode is streaming now with English dubbing on Funimation's website.
In this 2006 television anime series, director Kiyotaka Isako and Oriental Light and Magic adapted Nippon Ichi Software's popular Disgaea role-playing game franchise. Geneon Entertainment had previously licensed and released the anime in North America.
