Mahouse's racing film to screen at The Electric.

The details of the upcoming Birmingham screening of Redline are now available here. The film will be shown on Saturday March 26 from 1630 to 1825 at the Birmingham cinema The Electric. Tickets will go on sale from 1300 on Tuesday March 2.

Redline is a racing/action spectacular created by the Madhouse studio and directed by Takeshi Koike, who was responsible for the 'World Record' segment in Animatrix.

The screening page gives Redline's 'recommended certificate' as 18. This is higher than the 15 'local certificate' given the film at its recent screening at London's Barbican Centre on February 22. Redline has not yet been rated by the BBFC.

Redline is being shown as part of Birmingham's five-day Flatpack Festival from March 23 to 27. The screening is also part of the We Love Anime roadshow, which will see Redline and other anime films playing in British and Irish cinemas around the country.
