Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai's Novel Sales Top 3.5 Million

According to the official Twitter account for its anime adaptation, the romantic comedy light novel series Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai has sold over 3,500,000 copies. Six volumes of the series written by Yomi Hirasaka and illustrated by Buriki are currently in print, and the seventh volume will ship in Japan on September 22.
A manga adaptation of the series began serializing in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive magazine in 2010. Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai is inspiring a television anime adaptation which will premiere on October 6. (The official website is streaming a promotional video.) The seventh volume of the light novel will also bundle a separate, all-new anime DVD.
