Hachima Game Site Head Resigns After Allegations

Video game blogger Shimizu resigned from his duties at the blog site Hachima Kikō on Tuesday after various allegations about his operation of the site began to circulate online. The website head said that the accusations were a mixture of fiction and truth, but he did not directly restate the allegations that he engaged in stealth marketing for companies. He said that he is now paying for his mistakes, and his resignation became inevitable. Although Shimizu said that part of the rumors are lies, he apologized for the trouble that arose from the situation.
Management of the website will now be in the hands of various unnamed people. Shimizu gave up all control of the website and any benefits he may have received from its operation. The head also thanked his supporters for the opportunity to work with Hachima Kikō.
