Sunrise producer Masayuki Ozaki confirmed on Sunday that his anime studio plans to screen the Tiger & Bunny film project in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore simultaneously. He added that other regions (including Europe and the United States) are slated to be added afterwards.
Ozaki had just appeared with voice actor Masakazu Morita (Tiger & Bunny's Barnaby Brooks Jr.) at a Tiger & Bunny Special Talk Show event during the C3 expo in Hong Kong. Two other producers, Kazuhiko Tamura and Chika Matsui, revealed in Animage magazine on Saturday that the film project as a whole will have new characters, and the second film will have an entirely new story.
The first film from director Yoshitomo Yonetani will open in Japan in September. If possible, Tamura and Matsui would like to release the second film in 2013.
