Naruto's Rock Lee Spinoff TV Anime's Promo Streamed

posted on by Jennifer Sherman

The official website for the Naruto spinoff anime Naruto SD: Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden began streaming a 30-second promotional video on Monday. The television series adapts Kenji Taira's Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden gag comedy manga that centers on the secondary Naruto character Rock Lee.

Studio Pierrot, which also produces the main Naruto anime, will animate the new television series. The "SD" in the title stands for "Sugoi Doryoku," or "Super Determined." ("SD" traditionally means "super-deformed.")

The anime will premiere in Japan on April 3.
