Chūnibyō Demo Koi ga Shitai! BDs/DVDs to Have Unaired Shorts

The official website for Kyoto Animation's (KyoAni's) Chūnibyō demo Koi ga Shitai! television anime series revealed on Thursday that the Blu-ray Disc and DVD releases for the series will contain unaired "Depth of Field ~Ai to Nikushimi Gekijō" (Depth of Field - Love and Hate Theater) shorts.
The releases will each include two episodes of the series. The Blu-ray Discs will retail for 6,930 yen (about US$88) each, and the DVDs will retail for 5,670 yen (US$72) each. The first volume will ship on December 19 and the final volume will ship on May 15, 2013.
Other extras on the discs include cast and staff commentary, clean opening and ending videos, web promotional videos, and a "black activity report" video. The first-pressing releases will also include a 24-page color booklet, eyecatch illustration postcards, and a special case featuring illustrations by original character designer Nozomi Ousaka.
The series premiered in Japan on Wednesday. Sentai Filmworks announced last weekend that it has acquired the series for digital and home video distribution, and The Anime Network will stream the series.
