Kôji Kumeta Draws 1-Shot 'Shitauke Tantei' Manga

Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei manga creator Kôji Kumeta will publish a one-shot manga in the Shitauke Tantei Nokori Kazuhiro Series (Contract Detective Kazuhiro Nokori Series) in the combined 4th/5th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine on December 26. The one-shot manga will be the first entry in the collaborative series between Weekly Shōnen Magazine and Kodansha's literary magazine Mephisto. The detective story will have the classic "locked room" mystery scenario.
Kumeta and Yasu's series Joshiraku currently runs in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine. It was adapted into a 12-episode anime series in July. Kumeta's Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei manga wrapped in May. The series was adapted into three television anime series and several video anime projects.
