Nintendo Considers 3DS Tomodachi Collection for the West

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime stated in an interview with MTV Blog's Jason Cipriano that the company is "looking hard" at Tomodachi Collection: Shin Seikatsu for the Nintendo 3DS. The game was released in Japan in April and utilizes the player's Mii avatar to interact with friends in a virtual apartment complex. Fils-Aime cited the game as an example of the titles that gamers use in "short bursts of play, on a day-in, day-out basis," similar to Animal Crossing.
The game has not been announced for Western markets.
