France's Annecy, the world's largest animation festival, awarded its winners on Saturday. A total of 26 prizes were awarded, but none of the competing anime titles won in their respective categories. Berserk Golden Age Arc II: The Battle for Doldrey entered in the feature film category and four anime shorts entered the short film category including Masaaki Yuasa and Production I.G's crowd-funded "Kick-Heart." Anime selections were also included in the television series and graduation film categories.

Uma Historia de Amor e Furia (Rio 2096: A Story of Love and Fury) by director Luiz Bolognesi won best feature this year.

This year's Annecy was held from June 10 to June 15.
